As you can see by the slide below, Field Staffing was drastically cut by 45% while calls for service increased by 3%.
Below is comparison between proactive policing of the Sheriff's Department from 08/09 to 09/10. As you can see there were dramatic reductions in the number of suspicous or occupied vehicles stopped DOWN 39%...Suspicous Persons DOWN 37%...Vehicle Stops DOWN 45% and Arrests DOWN over 25%. What does that really mean...
